Leaders in Digital Era || Track 1: Leadership in digital era
Date: 8 October 2020
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, more and more employees work remotely, and deal with work challenges in a time of volatility, anxiety, fast changing circumstances and many uncontrolled risks. For this reason, leaders must manage not only an organisation that undergoes a digital transformation – but also people that live in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world and consist of virtual teams of three generations (X, Y, Z) with different skills and attitudes.
This session is part of the webinar series “Leaders in a digital era” and aims to equip microfinance institutions with the necessary skills and tools to effectively lead a team online and conduct successful digital meetings and trainings.
The webinar focused specifically on improving emotional intelligence needed in crisis: understanding emotional capacities, identifying needs and motivating in the changing work environment. The event aims to help participants in understanding their teams in order to help their staff overcome obstacles and improve effectiveness in the given conditions.
