Financial education for all!
For over a year, MFC has facilitated a group of Polish organizations active in providing financial education. Working group members deliver financial education to variety of groups: children, youth, adults, farmers, low-income families and vulnerable people. Through this group, we have engaged with over 20 financial institutions, public institutions and NGOs in a discussion about the status of financial literacy of Poles and their needs. On November 30th, during a one-day working meeting in Warsaw, all working group representatives shared their current practice, and discussed practical solutions for increasing the access and quality of financial education in Poland. Despite having worked on financial education in Poland for over 15 years, this is the first time we’ve seen increasing interest and momentum from other stakeholders from across the country.
