This webinar will provide an overview of the different legal contexts within which non-bank microfinance institutions (MFIs) are allowed to operate in their respective markets, highlighting their main similarities and differences. A special focus will be placed on understanding the different legislative approaches that affect MFIs and their clients. The webinar is based on the practical experience of a practitioner with international exposure to different regulatory frameworks.
The two experts who will deliver this session are:

The event is financed under the EaSI Technical Assistance programme, and participation is free of charge. The session targets primarily microfinance institutions (MFIs), including greenfield MFIs, banks, NGOs, regulators or other institutions and individuals working in the microfinance sector in Europe.
