Public Aid in Practice: Online Workshop for Polish Loan Funds

On Friday, 17 April 2026, the online workshop “Public Aid in Practice” brought together more than 80 participants from Polish loan funds. The session was led by Maciej Zasłona, who provided practical guidance on key aspects of public aid, including applicable legal frameworks, sectoral limitations and best practices relevant to fund managers.

The workshop also offered space for questions and exchange, resulting in a dynamic and highly engaged discussion among participants.

Public aid rules play a central role in the design, implementation and management of financial instruments offered by loan funds. This workshop supported participants in strengthening their practical understanding of public aid regulations, reducing legal and operational risks and ensuring compliance with applicable frameworks. By building capacity in this area, MFC and its partners contribute to more effective, transparent, and sustainable support for entrepreneurship and regional development.

The workshop was organised by MFC in cooperation with Polish Loan Funds Association (Polski Zwiazek Funduszy Pozyczkowych (PZFP), and was dedicated to Polish loan funds.
