Microfinance Advocacy Committee: Members Selected

Following an open call to Microfinance Centre and European Microfinance Network member organisations, we are pleased to announce the selection of members for the newly established Microfinance Advocacy Committee (MAC) which will be jointly chaired by both networks.
The call generated an enthusiastic response, attracting a strong and diverse group of candidates from across the European Union. After a thorough review process, a group of committed practitioners has been selected to form the Committee as regular members, alongside experts who will support the Committee within their expertise. Together, they will help strengthen and advance the voice of the microfinance sector across Europe.

What’s next
The Committee will hold its first meeting on 25 June 2026 to start working on the Committee’s objectives like:
- Building common positions on the sector main concerns and challenges
- Increasing visibility of the sector and its results
- Strengthening collaboration between practitioners, policymakers and public investors.
