Meet Our New Member: Agricover Credit IFN

We are delighted to welcome Agricover Credit IFN as a new member of the MFC network.

For nearly two decades, Agricover Credit IFN has been supporting Romania’s agricultural sector by providing farmers with access to flexible, specialised and inclusive financial solutions. Today, the institution works with more than 5,000 farmers, helping them access the financing needed to manage risks, invest in growth, and strengthen the resilience of their businesses.

A key focus of Agricover Credit IFN’s strategy is supporting small farmers, who often face significant climate and economic challenges while having limited access to traditional financial services. Drawing on its deep understanding of the agricultural value chain as part of the Agricover Group, the institution develops financial products tailored to the specific needs of rural communities.

Agricover Credit IFN is also recognised for its commitment to innovation and digitalisation. Through solutions such as Card FERMIER – Romania’s first business card dedicated exclusively to small and medium-sized farmers – it helps remove geographical and administrative barriers to finance. Farmers can apply for and receive financing entirely online, ensuring faster and more accessible support where it is needed most.
