NovaLend Receives the European Code of Good Conduct Certificate

NovaLend has officially received the European Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision Certificate, awarded by the European Commission. This achievement confirms that the company meets high European standards in areas such as governance, risk management, customer protection, transparency and responsible lending practices.

The certificate is one of the most recognised quality benchmarks in the European microfinance sector and is awarded only after an independent assessment of an institution’s compliance with the Code’s requirements. It demonstrates NovaLend’s commitment to operating according to the highest standards of ethics, professionalism and customer service.

Founded in 2023, NovaLend specialises in financing micro and small businesses through a fully digital lending model. By assessing creditworthiness based on current business data, the company is able to serve entrepreneurs with seasonal or non-standard income patterns, helping improve access to finance for underserved businesses.

The certification marks another important milestone for NovaLend, which already benefits from an InvestEU guarantee provided by the European Investment Fund and participates in the SIFTA programme of the European Investment Bank. NovaLend is also the first Polish commercial lending company and currently the only Polish organisation listed among institutions certified under the European Code of Good Conduct.

MFC warmly congratulates NovaLend on this achievement. We are proud to have supported the organisation throughout the certification process and are delighted to see its commitment to responsible and transparent microfinance recognised at the European level. We wish the entire NovaLend team continued success in supporting entrepreneurs and strengthening the microfinance sector in Poland.
