WATCH: Loan Restructuring and Refinancing Agreements – the EaSI Technical Assistance Webinar

Microfinance Centre with support of  European Union is offering a webinar on 16 April for microfinance institutions (MFI) interested in understanding the legal and economic terminology for restructuring and refinancing of loans, and what options they can offer for their clients.

This is the third webinar in a series called “How to build a corporate immune system for the crisis”, which was developed as a direct response to the challenges the COVID-19 outbreak has posed for many microfinance institutions.

The webinar will help microfinance institutions understand how to best respond to the demand for loan restructuring from their clients. In addition, the speakers will cover the relevant economic and legal terminology for restructuring and refinancing agreements and will advise MFIs when is it good to adjust an existing policy and when to create a new one.

The series aims to help institutions continue doing business at the time of a pandemic, while also helping them develop a corporate immune system for crises of this scale. It will also offer solutions to mitigate the negative impacts of the current situation, decrease losses and show new business opportunities.

Thursday, 16 April 2020 at 09:30 – 11:00 (CET),  in English. Attendance is free of charge.
