WATCH: Risk management for Beginners and Back-up staff – an EaSI Technical Assistance Webinar

Microfinance Centre with support of The European Union is offering a webinar for microfinance institutions (MFI) interested in preparing both their permanent staff and volunteers to efficiently recognize and manage risks both in the current pandemic situation, as well as in the future. The session will take place on 23 April.

This is the fourth webinar in the series “How to build a corporate immune system for the crisis”, which was developed as a direct response to the challenges the COVID-19 outbreak has posed for many microfinance institutions. The series aims to help institutions continue doing business at the time of a pandemic, while also helping them develop a corporate immune system for crises of this scale. It will also offer solutions to mitigate the negative impacts of the current situation, decrease losses and show new business opportunities.

The webinar will offer risk management tools and instruments specifically tailored for microfinance institutions to help them equip both their permanent staff, as well as junior recruits and volunteers with effective risk management practices. These tools will help risk managers to monitor challenges at earlier stages and prevent or reduce losses. The webinar will also offer solutions on how to automatize risk monitoring.
