The Third Central Asian Microfinance Summit
On September 19-20, 2024, the third Central Asian Microfinance Summit will be held in Samarkand. The summit is organized by the Central Asian Microfinance Alliance. The National Association of Microfinance Institutions of Uzbekistan serves as the organizing committee of the summit and Microfinance Centre is proud to partner with the Summit, contributing to its agenda and promoting the significance of this important regional event.
The main theme of the summit is “Supporting MSMEs without borders, back to basics”. The agenda also covers issues of financing women’s entrepreneurship, youth initiatives, ESG, Islamic finance, development of fintech solutions, a session of regulatory issues and development trends in the microfinance sector.
This regional summit is expected to bring together microfinance investors, microfinance professionals, representatives of microfinance associations, MFIs, regulators, development organizations and IT companies.
