Successful SIFTA Webinar on Fee Methodologies for Croatian Credit Unions!

As part of SIFTA programme, Microfinance Centre (MFC), in collaboration with HUKU (Hrvatska Udruga Kreditnih Unija), organized the first webinar for Croatia on “Developing a Methodology on Determining the Amounts and Changes of Fees in Operations with Members for Credit Unions”.

The webinar was designed to help credit union CEOs and employees develop a compliant methodology for adjusting fees in line with the Credit Union Act and regulations set by the Croatian National Bank. As credit unions in Croatia face the dual challenge of evolving consumer expectations and strict regulatory frameworks, the session provided essential guidance for aligning fee structures with their not-for-profit business model.

The event highlighted the importance of balancing member needs with legal obligations, fostering a deeper understanding of effective fee management in today’s dynamic financial landscape.
