Microfinance CEO Forum 2016

The Microfinance CEO Forum is a global professional and business networking opportunity for senior executives from the microfinance sector to share the experiences and learn from their peers in a relaxed and trustful environment.

We are holding our Annual CEO Summit for EBRD-funded MFIs in June 2016 (24-25 June) in Tirana, Albania. In addition, in the fall (28-29 October) we will convene one or more CEO Forum events, depending on demand. The CEO Summit is designed to focus on key global issues facing the industry and its leaders, while Forum meetings create space for direct and frank discussions about daily challenges and opportunities facing industry leaders today.

In addition to these CEO-only meetings, we will continue offering technical workshops and networking opportunities for senior managers. We will organize the second round of workshops for chief credit and risk managers (26-28 May 2016) and HR managers (23-24 September 2016). If need be, we will organize other peer exchange workshops for senior managers (for example IT managers, who play an increasingly important role in MFI operations).

Last but not least, we are excited to announce the pilot of our executive and organizational coaching program. This one-on-one support, for CEOs or their designees, over an extended period, will help recipients build the leadership and management skills needed to grow their organizations.
