MFC’s Director Joins the EC’s Expert Group on Social Economy

Grzegorz Galusek, Microfinance Centre’s Executive Director has become a member of the European Commission’s expert group on “Social Economy and Social Enterprise“.

The expert group provides the Commission with advice on policy measures to strengthen social economy and social enterprises’ ecosystem in the EU Member States and support in raising awareness about social economy initiatives at the national level.  The Group was set up 6 years ago and includes local authorities’s representatives, social entrepreneurs’ organisations, the banking and finance sector, as well as the EU academia representatives.
