We are delighted to announce MFC Silver Jubilee – the 25th MFC Annual Conference: Thriving Together and invite you to join us on the 24–25 May 2023 in Budva, Montenegro.
Whilst any milestone anniversary offers a chance to reflect on the achievements of the
MFC and our members, we want to do more than simply celebrate our success. We
want to examine how the experiences we have had and the lessons we have learnt
will equip us to meet the challenges of the next 25 years. On the horizon, we
see significant opportunities and significant risks: climate change,
technological challenges, uncertain future of work, political conflict, and global
insecurity. We must meet these trials with bold decisions, innovation and
agility. Our Jubilee event will encourage us to envision our role in mitigating
these challenges and creating sustainable ways of doing business and living. We
will examine how our changing relationship with the concept of work will affect
the microenterprise sector and how we can balance the immediate needs of small
business with the need to future-proof them. The conference program will also
adress the role of social investment and patient capital in helping companies
and communities to thrive.
The 25th anniversary event agenda will enable lively discussions and debates—as well as provide
time and space to celebrate our past and form new partnerships that may be
beneficial for your future work. Join your peers at this memorable event, set
