FINCA Bank Kyrgyzstan wins the first MFC Innovation Award!

We are thrilled to announce the winner of our first ever Innovation Award: FINCA Bank Kyrgyzstan. FINCA Bank will be awarded free Digital Field Application licenses and 20 tablets, generously provided by Software Group.

MFC’s Innovation Award recognizes innovative projects that stand to significantly contribute to financial inclusion within the next two years.

FINCA’s project proposal received highest scores by the award committee. The concept of the project is development of an innovative technological delivery channel for active and new clients of FINCA Bank Kyrgyzstan. The channel will provide the distance access to the financial products and services of the bank.

We would like to warmly thank all applicants for this year’s award – it is affirming to have received so many interesting and innovative proposals from prominent microfinance institutions in CEE and the CIS region. In addition to FINCA Kyrgyzstan, we would like to recognize five more companies for their creative projects and anticipated impact to financial inclusion:

These companies will receive a Certificate of Recognition during the 20th MFC Conference in Sarajevo.
