Watch the Webinar: Funding opportunities with Horizon Europe for microfinance and social finance providers 

Horizon Europe is the biggest research and innovation programme worldwide with an overall budget amounting to EUR 95.5 billion for the 2021-2027 period. Projects funded under this funding programme tackle climate change, help achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and facilitate collaboration by strengthening the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. 

In this webinar, you will learn how microfinance and social finance providers can use the funding to (among others):

• benefit from the development of innovative and effective financial inclusion products and services or adopt new technologies that can improve their serving of the clients,
• enhance their social and environmental impact,  by promoting gender equality, financial literacy, green finance, or social entrepreneurship,
• encourage collaboration between different types of organizations across Europe and the world, which can lead to the exchange of knowledge and expertise, as well as the creation of new business opportunities 

Horizon Europe supports activities delivered in partnerships: with networks, associations, regulators, universities and researchers.  

Eligible countries for funding: all EU Member States, third countries associated to Horizon Europe. Here’s the link where you find an overview of eligible countries.  

Eligible organisations: any legal identity can apply for Horizon Europe funding as long as they have the operational and financial capacity to carry out the tasks they propose (e.g., non-for-profit organisations, for profit organisations, public bodies).
