Take Part in The Survey on the European Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision – Deadline Extended!
Deadline to take part in the survey extended until 11 December 2020
MFC would like to share with you a survey on the European Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision (the Code). This survey will be feeding into a study, conducted by the University of Salford on behalf of the European Commission, focusing on the impact of the Code on the microfinance sector.
The survey contains a series of questions about the impact of the Code regarding practices, visibility, reputation, credibility, funding and sustainability of the microfinance sector. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Two separate surveys were designed for (1) representatives of microfinance institutions, and (2) other stakeholders and experts with experience with the Code:
- Microfinance institution survey: This survey is designed for representatives of microfinance and microcredit providers in Europe. It focuses on the impact of the Code on their practice.
Please access the MFI survey here
- Stakeholder survey: This survey is for stakeholders and experts working with, overseeing, funding or partnering with microfinance institutions. This can include EU institutions, national regulators and government departments, and funders and investors.
Please access the Stakeholder survey here
Representatives of banks can fill in the microfinance institution or the stakeholder survey depending on which they think is most appropriate for them.
We would be grateful if you could fill in one of the surveys by Wednesday the 25th of November. – EDIT: Friday 11 December 2020, deadline extended
Your responses will be treated confidentially and anonymously and they will not be used in a manner that will allow identification of your individual responses.
If you have any questions or comments about the survey, please contact Dr Pål Vik at the University of Salford by email: p.m.vik@salford.ac.uk
