Migrant Entrepreneurship Online Conference “Growing Europe”- Every Thursday of September
Make your September count!
After months of lockdown that has disproportionately affected the world’s disadvantaged communities, especially those with their own businesses to run, the need to support these people is more important than ever. The Growing Europe online conference, co-organized by the MAGNET Consortium, brings together migrants, refugees, policy makers, NGOs and the private sector to focus on ‘Boosting Migrant Entrepreneurship Networks’.
The Zoom sessions, taking place over four Thursday afternoons in September, will dive into the importance of migrant entrepreneurs in Europe, the specific support this group requires, how to ensure inclusive entrepreneurship and what the future holds for these business innovators, especially with regards to Covid-19.
You’ll have the rare chance to debate policies with representatives of the European Commission, meet migrants with interesting businesses, and hear what civil society actors are doing to improve the services for migrants wishing to start a business in Europe and contribute to our economy.
Go to the website to find out more about each of the sessions and register according to your schedule. All recordings will be available post-event. The conference is brought to you by three major European networks for migrant entrepreneurship: MAGNET– M-UP and EMEN.
