Description

There is a growing worldwide consumer demand for financial services, and the microfinance sector in emerging markets is no exception. However, dealing with both growing numbers of clients and more complex demands is a challenge for many MFIs.

Well run digital operations can help extend an MFI’s geographical outreach and allow it to cost-effectively scale its operations; facilitate a wider service and product offering; and typically, this means efficiency improvements and cost savings for the whole institution

A webinar “Digitalization of the Microfinance and non-bank financial sector” organized jointly by AMIK and ABC TECH will be held with the goal to highlight the importance of digital transformation of MFIs and the non-bank financial sector, the potential impact, and benefits, especially in the time of the current social, tech and market changes.

  • The benefits of transforming your operations digitally?
  • What can be digitalized?
  • How would such a transformation look like for microfinance institution?

We will also discuss current trends and dive deeper into current practices versus the possibilities that technologies can offer.
