SFV2021
Thank you for attending the first edition of the MFC Virtual Conference – “Social Finance Vibe 2021: Pandemic Reboot”
The 23rd MFC Annual Conference – our first-ever fully virtual networking event – was a perfect opportunity for social finance professionals to network, share ideas, learn from an impressive line-up of guests, and lay the groundwork for successful future partnerships. Powered by the latest technology and our team of skilled facilitators, our digital village kept participants engaged for three days of virtual sessions, peer networking, exhibitions, and meeting familiar faces from the pre-Covid era.
Conference highlights
In 2021, we embraced the theme “Social Finance Vibe: Pandemic Reboot” actively tackling topics related to digitalization, green microfinance, and effectively overcoming the pandemic crisis.
Here’s what participants experienced:
- The Plenary featured headline debates on key trends and burning issues facing social finance.
- The Partner’s stage allowed attendees to browse the booths of conference sponsors as well as those of other investors, IT providers, consultancy, and practitioner firms. Participants had the opportunity to drop by demo sessions, Q&A sessions, group huddles, or have individual meetings with potential new collaborators.
- The Session offered regional roundtables, networking meetings, and in-depth “meet the expert” sessions on topics surrounding green transitioning, digitalization, crowdfunding, regulation, social enterprise sector development, and more.
- The Networking Area welcomed participants for one-on-one engagement in a relaxed setting. Attendees could grab their tea or coffee and connect with social finance allies from across the world.
