The full-day event brought together managers and representatives of PZFP member funds to discuss key issues facing financing institutions, their role in the repayable financing system and the challenges the sector will face in the coming years. They were joined by guests Piotr Żuber, Senior Counsellor at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy; Katarzyna Kaczkowska, Economic Counsellor at the European Commission Representation in Poland and Paweł Chorąży, Managing Director for EU Funds at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK).
The agenda covered:
🔹 the launch of the 2025 Report on Loan Funds in Poland
🔹 current trends in the development of repayable financing
🔹 cooperation with BGK and approaches to own contribution
🔹 key operational and regulatory issues affecting fund activities
🔹 good practices and lessons learned from funds across Poland’s regions
The workshop also gave participants space to exchange experiences, present practical solutions and strengthen cooperation among institutions involved in developing repayable instruments. The discussions aimed to produce recommendations to further strengthen the position of loan funds within the financial ecosystem.
Participants agreed to work together to ensure the sector is fully prepared for the new EU programming period.
MFC thanks all speakers, partners and participants for their valuable contributions. We look forward to continuing this cooperation.
