Topic: Current regulatory challenges
This event, co-hosted by the Polish Union of Loan Funds, helped better understand Polish microfinance regulations and identify solutions to current challenges they face. Discussion topics included the practical aspects of debt collection and relevant regulations.
Participants included delegates from Polish microfinance institutions and loan funds interested to learn from best practices and experience sharing with focus on the latest developments in debt collection.
Workshop feedback was extremely positive, with participants giving it an average score of 4.5 out of 5. This shows a high level of satisfaction among participants, with a high number of people rating the event as “very good” or “excellent” overall. In particular, participants valued highly the facilitator’s knowledge and skills, as well as the content of the workshop. One participant noted: “the training was very informative and focused on the topic”.
The European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation is under the direct management of the European Commission – Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. The EaSI Technical Assistance services support public and private financial intermediaries of the microfinance sector in Europe with a wide range of activities aimed at increasing the quality of their internal processes, enhancing access to finance for vulnerable groups in particular, and creating a sustainable European microfinance ecosystem.
